The Rabbit Knows is a cartoonist from Greece, who creates cartoons and artworks with satirical, philosophical and political content. Born, raised and studied in Thessaloniki, he lived and worked in the Netherlands between 2012 and 2016. Since 2016 he lives permanently in Athens.

He has presented three solo exhibitions, ‘Mice who prefer to fail’ (Utrecht, 2012), ‘Anarchy in Nostalgia’ (Athens, 2018) and ‘Anarchy in Fairytales’ (Athens 2023) and has created three collections, “Anarchy in Nostalgia”, “Anarchy in Caryatids” and “Anarchy in Fairytales” , which are available in a number of design stores in Greece.

He has participated three times (2021, 2022 and 2023) in the Dutch anti-fascist calendar “Gutmensch Scheurkalender”, published by Jurgen Maas in Amsterdam.

He has collaborated with the National Theatre of Greece, sketching for Yannis Kalavrianos’ performance of “Medea by Bost” (July 2022), for the annual conference of the Little National Theatre (September 2022), and created the series “Anarchy in Shakespeare” (March 2022) exclusively for the National Theater.

Ο The Rabbit Knows είναι ένας σκιτσογράφος από την Ελλάδα, που δημιουργεί σκίτσα και εικαστικά σατιρικού, φιλοσοφικού και πολιτικού περιεχομένου. Γεννήθηκε, μεγάλωσε και σπούδασε στη Θεσσαλονίκη, έζησε και εργάστηκε στην Ολλανδία, μεταξύ του 2012 και 2016. Από το 2016 και έπειτα ζει μόνιμα στην Αθήνα.

Έχει παρουσιάσει τρεις ατομικές εκθέσεις, “Mice who prefer to fail” (Ουτρέχτη, 2012), “Αναρχία στη Νοσταλγία” (Αθήνα, 2018) και “Αναρχία στα Παραμύθια” (Αθήνα, 2023) και έχει δημιουργήσει τις συλλογές “Αναρχία στη Νοσταλγία”, “Αναρχία στις Καρυάτιδες” και “Αναρχία στα Παραμύθια”, οι οποίες βρίσκονται διαθέσιμες σε μια σειρά από design stores στην Ελλάδα.

Έχει συμμετάσχει τρεις φορές (2021, 2022, και 2023) στο Ολλανδικό αντιφασιστικό ημερολόγιο “Gutmensch Scheurkalender”, το οποίο εκδίδεται από τον εκδοτικό οίκο Jurgen Maas στο Amsterdam.

Έχει συνεργαστεί με το Εθνικό Θέατρο, σκιτσογραφώντας για την παράσταση «Μήδεια του Μποστ», του Γιάννη Καλαβριανού (Ιούλιος 2022), για το ετήσιο συνέδριο του Μικρού Εθνικού (Σεπτέμβριος 2022), και δημιουργώντας τη σειρά “Αναρχία στον Σαίξπηρ” (Μάρτιος 2022) αποκλειστικά για το Εθνικό Θέατρο.
